All the films are protected by copyright to prevent unauthorised copying. Hope that this will not stop you enjoying the films. All the films were taken by members of the former Hay & District Cine and Photograph Society which existed between 1965 and 1980.

Hay Urban District Council.
5th June 1968.
Mr. Norman Keylock succeeds Mr. Tom Pritchard as Chairman of the Council at the old Council Chamber in Broad Street.
Hay Civic Parade.
After the new chairman of the council was elected, a parade and church service was organised where he or she invited their fellow councillors, together with other prominent bodies within the town, to join them. This civic parade took place during June 1968.
Hay firemen have a ladder exercise at the fire station in Brecon Road under the supervision of the Station Officer Jack Lewis.
Infant's School Christmas play in 1969
The Headmistress was Mrs. Sylvia Mayall and the infant's class was held in Hay Community Centre.
The following film was shot by Mike Williams and shows Hay Primary School pupils performing a play and concert at the Community Centre School in 1971.
